Evaluation
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of a real media product?
Question 2
How does your media product represent particular social groups?
My media is aimed at people who are interested in indie/rock music. The social group that my media product represents are people who enjoy going to gigs and festivals. The social group are different and independent. This means that the content of my product has to reflect their personalities so I used indie bands and models with clothes simlier to what they would wear, also my models convey attitude to relate to the reader. My interview with the drummer Jake Woodward relates to the reader as he enjoys indie and rock music.

Question 3
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
http://www.ipcmedia.com/brands/
IPC media would be the media institution to distribute my product because it does not produce a music magazine like mine were as Bauer produce Kerrang and Q which is a lot like my product. Also by choosing IPC media to distribute my product it would give Bauer competition. Another reason why I choose IPC because my product can increase their market share. NME is an IPC product which is simpler product to mine.

Question 5
How did you attract/address your audience?
Question 6
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
I have learnt whilst producing my front cover is how to use Photoshop more for example putting effects on images and also how to merge to images together. Using QuarkXPress was new to me as I had never heard of it before, at first it was hard to understand but after a few tries of it I was use to it and could use it well. I also used blogger to show my work and had never used it before but I found blogger easy to use. I also learnt how easy Desktop Publisher is to use. Examples of Desktop Publishing, PC, camera, printer with this entire software one person could do what a number of people would have to do in the past, this makes it cheaper.
Question 7
Looking back at your preliminary task what do you feel you have learnt from the progression from it, to your full product?
